# 📌 When Should You Reset Your Server?

You might want to reset your server if:

  • You're starting fresh with a new setup or modpack.
  • You're troubleshooting major issues or bugs.
  • You want to wipe all data and configs.

# ⚠️ What Gets Wiped?

A proper reset will remove:

  • All server files (worlds, mods, configs, plugins).
  • Any custom setups or environment changes.

# 🔁 How to Fully Reset Your Server

To do a clean reset, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Expanse Panel.
  2. Go to your server from the Servers list.
  3. Head to the File Manager tab.
  4. Delete all files from the server (select all and click the delete button).
  5. Delete all files from recycle bin
  6. Now click the Settings tab from the left sidebar.
  7. Scroll down to find the Reinstall Server section.
  8. Click the Reinstall button and confirm when prompted.

# After Resetting

After the reinstall:

  • Your server will be in its default state.
  • You can now upload new files or install your setup from scratch.
  • Double-check startup settings and environment variables.
