🧪 Installing Minecraft Mods
Running Forge, Fabric, or NeoForge? You can install mods automatically using our Mod Manager, or manually upload any custom mods.
#
✅ Option 1: Using the Mod Manager
- Log in to the Expanse Panel.
- Go to your modded Minecraft server.
- Click on the Mods Installer tab.
- Search or browse through available mods.
- Click Install on any mod you'd like to add.
- Restart your server to apply changes.
This is the easiest way to add supported mods.
#
🛠️ Option 2: Manual Mod Upload
If the mod isn’t in our manager or you have a custom mod:
- Download the mod
.jar
file from a trusted source (e.g. CurseForge, Modrinth). - Make sure the mod is compatible with your server's modloader (Forge/Fabric/NeoForge) and version.
- Log in to the Expanse Panel.
- Open your server and go to the File Manager.
- Navigate to the
mods/
folder (create it if it doesn’t exist). - Upload the
.jar
file here. - Restart your server.
Some mods have dependencies (like Cloth Config or Architectury), so check the mod’s page for required files and upload them too.
